Why we exist. The world needs more food, cleaner water, and lower emissions, all delivered with fewer inputs and less waste. Easy Environmental Solutions, Inc was founded to turn that challenge into action with solutions customers can use today, not someday.
What we do. We design and deploy practical tools that regenerate natural eco-systems and create circular value. Our currented patented technology includes; Terreplenish® a live microbial soil amendment that rebalances the soil microbiome and unlocks nutrients already present, so roots can access more of what they need. EasyFEN™ is our modular, field‑deployable system that converts green food waste into feedstock and microbial inputs used to produce Terreplenish®, creating a tight, local circular loop. Our Nano‑Void™ Technology helps to clean water in multiple industries like Oil & Gas, Aquaculture, Water treatment and Agraculture. We pair these biology‑led tools with modular engineering to transform waste and underutilized resources into productivity for clean water, waste reduction, and renewable energy.
Where we come from and where we work. EES pioneered Modular Energy Production Systems (MEPS®): patented, small‑scale biorefineries (1M, 2M, 5M gallons/year) that convert organic waste into alternative liquid biofuels capable of blending with, or selectively replacing, fossil fuels. Centrally manufactured and deployable worldwide, MEPS® proved that distributed systems can hit competitive cost per gallon with lower CAPEX per gallon than many large plants. Today, we operate manufacturing, R&D, and testing facilities in Mankato, Minnesota and Emmetsburg, Iowa. Our Emmetsburg site houses an operational MEPS® unit used to validate processes, integrate new feedstocks and technologies, and inform current soil, water, and energy solutions.
Who we serve and how we measure success. We support everything from local gardeners to large commercial growers and specialty crops. We measure what matters: visible improvements in plant vigor and crop quality; reductions in fertilizer and water; upward trends in soil health indicators; better water‑quality metrics and waste diversion; and carbon‑intensity/sequestration benefits where applicable. Our philosophy is simple: nature already runs the best closed‑loop system on earth. By working with biology and scaling it through modular engineering we accelerate profitable sustainability, farm by farm, garden by garden, community by community.
